Since joining Golden Line, I have realized the difference between generalized training and actual personalized training! One of the first things my coach asked me was what my goal was for this year. I wanted to make semifinals after just missing it last year. We had limited time (about three months) until semifinals was here. It was a long shot. But he found what I needed to work on just by seeing the numbers I was putting in, and he found even more things needing work when we met in person! I'm so grateful for my coach and the individualized programming that he works so hard to make!

Matt offered direct access to him and a personalized plan around my goals. I wanted to be the best I could be while training for health and longevity. Instead of training 2-3 hours a day like I did earlier in my career, we came up with a plan that took only 1.5 hours each day. This approach kept me fresh and produced two Top 10 CrossFit Games appearances and a gold medal in the 2019 IF3 Masters World Championship.

I have been working with Greg for two years now and it is the best decision I have ever made for my fitness. I am a completely different athlete than I was prior to starting. Greg has helped me dial in everything so I can perform when it counts. This includes addressing things outside the gym, like lifestyle and nutrition, as well as properly addressing MY weaknesses in the gym. With this individualized approach, I have been able to stay healthy and achieve my goal of competing at CrossFit Semifinals. I have also been able to stay healthy and continuously do things I did not think I was capable of. My coach helps keep me on track and helps me stay in touch with the process of training.
